RAD - Postgraduate Programmes Officer

Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) are looking for an enthusiastic Postgraduate Programmes Officer to join the Faculty of Education.

£18,000 – £25,000 per annum 
Permanent / Monday – Friday (34.5 hours per week)


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of operating administrative procedures within an office environment (ideally in a higher or further education context) and is wishing to further develop their skills. You will be responsible for providing administrative support for the management and delivery of two postgraduate programmes of study; Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Dance Teaching) and the Master of Arts in Education (Dance Teaching), working closely with academic and administrative staff and students to ensure that the programmes are delivered to the highest standard in an efficient and professional manner.

YOUR PROFILE

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, together with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and handle conflicting demands under pressure are a must. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and have confidence in dealing with enquires from the general public, colleagues and students. The ability to work independently and within a team as well as using your own initiative, along with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft, Email and internet) are essential.

Previous experience of producing agendas, distributing papers and writing minutes for committee meetings (or similar) and working with a virtual learning environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
