The RAD are looking for a talented Fundraising Manager to join the energetic and innovative Strategic Development & Fundraising department.
£30,000 - £33,000 pa
Permanent / Full-time / 34.5 hours per week
This is an excellent time to join the Academy, as the organisation prepares to celebrate its Centenary in 2020. You will be working on fundraising towards a variety of exciting projects; ‘Project B’ (which aims to get more boys into the dance studio), ‘Silver Swans’ (the extremely popular initiative to bring dance into the lives of 55+ year olds) and the move to a state-of-the-art global headquarters for RAD in our Centenary year.
This is a superb opportunity for someone with previous fundraising experience and a demonstrable track record in corporates, trusts and foundations or individual giving to bring their skills and knowledge to make a transformational impact on the Academy’s fundraising.
Your fundraising expertise will be pivotal in supporting the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising to develop and manage departmental and organisational objectives including the delivery of key programmes, such as the Genée International Ballet Competition and strategic development initiatives.
You will have substantial experience of working in a fundraising role with a demonstrable track record in at least one discipline (corporates, trusts and foundations, individual giving). You will be an adept communicator capable of managing relationships with people at all levels across different sectors.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent work experience you will use your ability to write engaging copy and knowledge of fundraising techniques to help us meet our organisational objectives. With a sound understanding of MS office applications, a confident presentation style and excellent organisational skills you will lead on fundraising activity across the Academy.
