SOSA In The City

SOSA In The City is a FREE, one-off, one-hour, fun-filled and inclusive Community Dance Fitness Class, with spaces for up to 150 participants, being staged at York Hall - an iconic venue in the heart of London’s East End.

Timed to coincide with the annual New Year upsurge of interest in reclaiming our fitness levels, SOSA In The City sets out to inspire and encourage people — of all ages and abilities, all shapes and sizes, faiths and cultures — to become more active through their love of dance. The registration process opened this week for participants to book their FREE place now via the SOSA website, and this will be promoted heavily throughout social media channels.

With the empowering support and funding of The Mayor of London and EMD UK, this fantastic event — developed by SOSA founder, Katy Barrow — reaches out into the community even further with another innovative, purposeful and lasting legacy.

Katy has secured 50% of the funding for this SOSA In The City project to offer a special SOSA Train & Teach initiative, and SOSA has chosen to match it. This will facilitate FREE Instructor Training (Online/Live) for a total of TEN London-based dance teachers and fitness professionals - so that they, in turn, can launch SOSA classes in their own London locality.

The Instructor Training will be completed in advance and by the year end, with the resulting opportunity to perform on stage with Katy and the Pro Team at the London event. This high profile presence provides a fantastic in-built springboard for all of the qualifying instructors to begin building their own client base.

A dedicated Train & Teach SOSA Bursary page has also been launched on the SOSA website for Dance Teachers/Fitness Instructors to apply for a FREE Training package. Upon selection, the training can begin immediately online, with limited availability to train LIVE at a special Instructor Training Day in London with Katy on Nov 26, 2017.

It couldn’t be easier to apply for your FREE SOSA Online Instructor Training, you only have to fill in a short application form on our website at https://sosafitness.co.uk/train-and-teach/
